I painted so many nails this past weekend that I had no time to do my own. Then I got an order on my etsy page and I do not paint my nails if I am going to be painting posters or frames or anything like that because splatter is inevitable and it will ruin my nail design. But today, I got tired of staring at my boringly plain nails so I used what I've got to get what I want... Or... Wanted...

Tomorrow I will be heading to what is arguably the happiest place on earth... That's right... I'm going to Disneyland with my niece and nephew... I dont too much care for Mickey Mouse but I am trying to get into the spirit of this trip (because I really don't feel like going) so because I had just finished making this:
I used what I've got to accomplish these Minnie Mouse nails...
Overall, I feel meh about them. I don't like using paint on my nails. But it'll do until I get to my polish stash at home... I plan on using actual nail polish to make Eeyore nails. But until then, these will suffice...
Also, I'm gonna see if I can talk little sister #2 into letting me paint piglet on her nails...
Not gonna post from Disneyland but I will certainly post when we get back...
This weekend, I painted hella posters and hella nails... I think it's safe to say that just like Waka Flocka, I go hard in the paint (and polish)!
I was with my real sisters, sorority sisters and friends all weekend. And after countless hours of begging, they all allowed me to paint their nails! I was too juiced about it all! Take a look at my work (WARNING: Feet pics ahead!):

I was so busy working on everyone elses nails that all I had time to do to my nails was this:
That's right... NOTHING! Can you believe that?! I never walk around with my nails all plain and unpainted. Thats crazy to me! I'm definitely going to try my best to paint them tonight, though...

I just got tickets to see my most favorite singer other than Erykah Badu (who is my ultimate number one favorite singer)...
I went way too hard in Rite Aid and Walgreens yesterday morning. I ended up buying 10 new polishes (ridiculous, I know. I'll post a pic of them all later.). But since it's Pink Wednesday and I had two new pinks to choose from, I had to try one out...
Initially, I had planned on doing somethinng super elaborate and using both of my new pinks but then life happened and I ended up being out until almost 3am engaging in shenanigans of an astronomical proportion. But there was no way I was going anywhere with this still on my nails:
I did not like how this design turned out, which is why I didn't post it...
Anyway, I decided that I would not go to sleep until I did my nails with something new and (obviously) pink, even if it wasnt challenging. So I just did old faithful; leopard nails.
Even though this is pretty plain for my taste, I love the color (Sally Hansen Coral Reef) and I like the way they turned out. However, when you are deliriously tired, it's probably best not to paint your nails before turning in... This is what happens when you fall asleep almost immediately after painting your nails:
Smudges! Grrrr...
It's still cute though. Not so cute that I'm not gonna take it off tonight, but cute enough...

I know I'm like 4 days late posting this. I have been all gas, no brakes since the night my newest sorority members had their coming out show. It went so well and I am so happy and proud of them!
Now, on to the nails... This is what I did:

I really like the way it turned out and so did my sorority sisters. Hooray for the neos!

If you read my posts, you know that if I am going to paint, then I don't change my nail art until I'm done with that project. So I thought I'd do a little mini-post to show you why I didnt paint my nails last night... I was painting this instead...
I painted this at the school that my Dean works at in Oakland, CA. We wanted something the kids would relate to. My Dean loves E-40 and we both are so proud to be Bay Area natives... We had to do it! Hakuna matata is the motto cause you only live once... We out here trying to function!!!
